Carolina Wagemans is a forever favorite waterlily dahlia. We will grow her for the rest of our lives. Blooms are around 3-4” and plants stand 4-5’ tall in our garden. This spectacular dahlia was bred in 1992 by Geerlings located in Netherlands. The colors shift through the growing season from pale sherbet to a vivid coral and every shade range in between. We live in a very hot climate and this variety shines even through the heat, producing an abundance of blooms. However, she is a terrible tuber producer. I highly recommend growing from cuttings and spacing closer than you normally would with other dahlias, even as close as 4-6” since tuber production is extremely low.
This is for one rooted dahlia cutting potted into a 3” pot. Sizes will vary.
